The Story
The Cider Yard Spa will be a quiet corner of Wood Advent Farm, tucked into the old stone barns and shaped by the same rhythms as the land around it. A place to slow down properly. Wood-fired heat, cold water, fresh air, long conversations around the fire pit, and time spent reconnecting with yourself and the countryside. Whether you come for a few peaceful hours, a full day of treatments and relaxation, or as part of a longer stay at the farm, the spa is designed to feel personal, grounding, and deeply tied to the landscape that surrounds it.

The Cider Yard Experience
Set within the old farm buildings, The Cider Yard Spa will bring together rustic materials, thoughtful design, and simple comforts to help you instantly exhale when you walk through the door. Inside, the wood burner will crackle away as you arrive and settle, sipping a cleansing herbal tea. Outdoors, there’s the horse box sauna, plunge pool, hot tub and fire pit lounge area, all surrounded by the calm of the farm and the changing Exmoor weather. Inside, the relaxation space will be warm, quiet, and designed for unhurried afternoons.
This won’t not a rushed spa experience. It will be somewhere to spend time slowly.
Rooted in the Farm
Everything at Wood Advent starts with the land, and the spa is no different. The same care that goes into the farming, conservation work, and food production shapes the way The Cider Yard Spa is being created. Old barns are being carefully restored, materials reused where possible, and every part of the space designed to feel connected to its surroundings rather than separate from them.
There will be luxury here, but it’s the kind that comes from stillness, warmth, good food, fresh air, and genuine hospitality.
More Than a Spa Day
A visit to The Cider Yard Spa can become part of a wider experience at Wood Advent Farm. Spend the morning unwinding in the sauna and hot tub, then head out on a foraging walk, explore the farm, or settle in for an evening stay at The Granary. Guests will also be able to discover the farm’s produce, from organic meat boxes to heritage grains and seasonal food experiences.
Over time, the spa will continue to grow alongside the farm itself, including the addition of a kitchen garden where guests will be able to pick ingredients for fresh seasonal lunches and enjoy treatments designed around rest, wellbeing, and the natural surroundings.
The Cider Yard Spa will initially open on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Opening Days
