All bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities, television, clock radios and hairdryers, and we are always on hand to make you a fresh pot of coffee or tea, with some delicious home-made cake to go with it. We provide our guests with toiletries, bathrobes and large fluffy towels in the bathrooms, and we also offer a small laundry service, and a drying room for outdoor clothes just in case it rains!

Downstairs the farmhouse has two reception rooms looking out over the gardens. These rooms have large comfortable sofas and chairs for you to relax in, with plenty of books and games to keep you occupied. During the winter months both rooms have a roaring log fire to provide a cosy retreat from cold weather. The farmhouse also has full central heating, making it a comfortable and welcoming place to stay all year round.
The dining room is situated in what was the old kitchen, with the original bread oven still in place and the servants' staircase leading up to the east wing. There is a wood burner in the old fireplace which keeps the room cosy in the winter. Guests dine on individual tables or if you are in a big house party we can put up our large dining table which will seat up to 14 people.
In the grounds there is a grass tennis court and a heated swimming pool for guests' use. We can provide stabling if you would like to bring your own horse, and dogs are welcome, but must be kept in the kennels provided, and not in the house.
Wood Advent Breakfast and Dinner
Food and how it is produced is very important to us at Wood Advent Farm. We are a working farm with sheep and cattle, and much of the food we provide comes from the farm itself or from other local producers on Exmoor. At Wood Advent you will find a menu which reflects the seasons and not the market force, but we will always make sure that dietary needs are catered for, so if you have a particular preference just let us know. |

We aim to cater for all tastes, so if you have a favourite dish you would like to see on the menu just mention it to us. Wood Advent Farm has a bar and a wine licence, and our own spring water.
We can also provide packed lunches for walkers, although many of our walks take you to nearby local inns which are well known for their food. |
